Unseen forces (31 May)

How this year is flying past as we have arrived at Trinity Sunday! This is the only Sunday of the year when we celebrate a concept rather than Jesus’ teaching. My sermon will focus on the challenge of resting in the unseen forces of Christian life. Our world is dominated by vision and the measurements demanded by scientific verification. In contrast, we walk a path of faith and trust.

I have already written of the positive meeting we had with Bishop Alison and our plan to move forward with vision and planning for the future. I hope that many of you will be willing to participate as we lay a solid foundation for the future direction of the Parish of South Darebin.
