Celebrating a 50-Year Milestone

We give thanks for half a century since the consecration of the current St James church building on 2nd October 1976. This church brought together two communities in faith and hope: St James and St Aidan’s. It has been home to countless acts of worship, celebration, and service.

Fifty years on, we continue to gather as a faithful community where all are accepted, loved and encouraged. We honour the past while embracing the future, welcoming people of all cultures, ages, abilities, genders, and sexual orientations.
