Sowing for growth (12 July)

We continue our journey into Matthew’s gospel and this week we hear the Parable of the Sower (Chapter 13). In my sermon I will provide an in-depth examination of the challenge of parables and a methodology for moving to a growth mindset. It can be quite a challenge to learn anew from stories that many of us have known from childhood!

On Sunday afternoon we are gathering to consider some constructive next steps for moving forward together. The attendance of all parishioners will ground the process in solidarity. Ideally, we will hear a range of perspectives as people draw on past experiences and articulate their hopes for the future.
